This is an unofficial, player-run reference for Way of the Hunter 2: the animals, the maps, the guns, the missions and what each patch changed. It is written for people who want the facts before they walk into the reserve, and it has no connection to Nine Rocks Games or THQ Nordic.

Rowan Ashby keeps this site. Everything here is built from Nine Rocks Games patch notes, the official FAQ, the Steam store and achievement data, plus the community wiki for region and mission tables. When two sources disagree, the newer official note wins and the page says so.

Species, guns and dates come from Nine Rocks Games patch notes, the official FAQ and the Steam store; region and mission tables are cross-checked against the community wiki and named where they come from.

When pages get rechecked

Every patch note Nine Rocks posts gets read the day it lands, and the animal, gun and patch pages are updated to match.

What we leave out

No guessed need-zone maps, no made-up gun tiers and no download, crack or money-cheat links.
